Job Description:
The Employment Workshop Assistant will work with the Employment Workshop Specialist to develop pre-employment workshop materials. He/she/they will offer employment related and technological supports to clients, and assist with digital content development. This is a Canada Summer Jobs funded position requiring applicants to be born after May 1, 1994.

The Employment Workshop Assistant will work with the Employment Workshop Specialist to develop pre-employment workshop materials. Position Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development of pre-employment workshop materials and co-facilitate workshops
- Assist with workshop administration and participant communications
- Offer employment-related and technological supports for clients accessing the PEHC resource area
- Connect clients to community services and resources and engage with clients to answer questions and provide supports
- Support outreach efforts in the community and attend community events as needed
- Assist with digital content development
- 1-2 years of a college or university program
- Strong research and writing skills
- Independent worker able to work with autonomy
- Proven ability to create and work to a project plan
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge or experience with digital production an asset
